Cast Nylon is made by direct polymerization of caprolactam, this polymer is never been melted and thus it is not subjected to any thermal degradation.In addition, its molecular weight is several folds higher than molecular weight of Extruded Nylon-6.


With Increase in molecular weight the physical properties of Thermoplastics improves Cast Nylon has superior tensile & compressive strength, modulus of elasticity, better wear & tear resistance, Lower distortion even at Higher temperatures, Low moisture absorption, superior dimensional stability.
