PTFE (TEFLON)® COATED FIBREGLASS ADHESIVE TAPES

Petrorays Brings to you, PTFE coated fibre Glass is coated on one side with high temperature resistant pressure sensitive silicone adhesive. These adhesive tapes can withstand temperature resistance upto 260oC.


These Tapes are used in sealing of polymer film in FFS, Impulse sealer Band Sealer, & bags making machine.


Applying PTFE COATED TAPES on the heating element allows the heat to transfer and fuse the plastic without the plastic sticking to the heating element ensuring a permanent seal.


This tapes withstands temperatures up to 260oC and serves as an excellent anti-stick surface where the requirements are stringent.


Petrorays offer's OSA (One side Adhesive) tapes in various sizes. We also have fabrics & Tapes which gives impression on the sealing area.


Petrorays can also offer Premium grades of Adhesive tapes which are specially used in Oil & Ghee packings.

THIS GUIDE IS BEEN SUBMITTED FOR OPTIMUM LIFE OF THE ADHESIVE TAPES

    SURFACE PREPARATION :
  • Clean the roll/bar/sheet/rod etc. where you want to stick the tape with dry cloth or zero number Sand paper.
  • Remove all dirt, grease, carbon etc.
  • Gently rub the surface with the solvent such as acetone, methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) etc. and see that the roll/bar/sheet/rod etc. is dry, clean & slightly rough.
  • EVEN A SLIGHT OIL OR DIRT LEFT ON SURFACE CAN IMPAIR ADHESION STRENGTH.
    APPLICATION :
  • Open release paper (yellow corrugated) from one side & start to stick the tape with thumb pressure.
  • Open only about 2” to 4” initially.
  • Again open release paper a little bit & stick adhesive tape on the surface. This will help avoid air bubbles.
  • Stick in such a manner that you do not have to ply off the tape for minor adjustments. In other words stick correctly the very first time.
  • If air bubbles are entrapped remove by rolling a round rod.
